    Colton Moody studied psychology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He was an honors student. He also attended Southern Utah University, during which time he was a member of the university football team.

    Moody continues to be involved in a wide range of charitable efforts. In addition to donating one-tenth of his annual income to his church, he also donates to the Public Broadcasting System.

    In his spare time, Colton Moody enjoys outdoor pursuits such as fishing, hunting, and camping. He likes to snow ski in the winter, and he wakeboards on Deer Creek during hot weather. Other favorite activities of his include watching television programs like Homeland and NCIS. Moody is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
