    Summary

    Charles Goodman, an avid car collector, has an extensive history of professional community involvement. He has raised large amounts of money for multiple organizations, including Hospice By The Bay, and many of his fundraising endeavors have been tied with car shows and car collecting. Much of Charles Goodman’s public work has taken place in Auburn, Indiana; Tacoma, Washington; and Ross and San Francisco, California. Additionally, Charles Goodman has served on boards in connection with museums committed to preserving the history of the automobile industry. He was on the board of the LeMay Museum in Tacoma, Washington, and he currently serves on the board of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in Auburn, Indiana. His main responsibilities on the board include raising money for the museum and putting on the museum’s extravaganza events. Several charities in the Marin and San Francisco area have benefited from Goodman’s community involvement. For example, Goodman was instrumental in raising more than $500,000 for Hospice By The Bay. Further, other charities have received fundraising assistance from Goodman, including the Mount Zion Hospital, Marin General Hospital, Ross School, Branson School, Marin Symphony, Marin History Museum, Roots of Peace, and Dominican University.
