    Named one of America’s Top Psychiatrists by Consumers' Research Council of America, Dr. Ashish “Ash” Bhatt holds an MD from the Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine. Dr. Ash Bhatt completed a residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Joining the healthcare industry more than a decade ago, Dr. Bhatt provided support to Physician’s Choice Home Health Services and St. Mary’s Medical Center Institute for Mental Health before accepting the role of chief and medical director of child and adolescent inpatient and emergency crisis services at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ash Bhatt fulfilled this position while serving as an attending psychiatrist at The Village, a residential substance abuse treatment facility, where he built addiction treatment plans for recovering adolescents and youths. In addition, Dr. Bhatt established an addiction psychiatry rotational experience that gives fellows hands-on experience working with youths who have substance abuse issues. Dr. Bhatt continued to grow his expertise in medicine by leading different units within Jackson Memorial and later tending to patients at his private practice. His most recent positions were with The Recovery Place and Elements Behavioral Health as chief medical officer. Dr. Bhatt maintained an executive leadership role at Lucida Treatment Center.
