* Square/BRAC (SIL): President & CEO. Turnaround of non-operational start-up CDMA operator in Bangladesh, to market and profitability; then transitioned to WiMAX via a $250m JV with Reliance Globalcom in 6-months. Designed & implemented business re-organization, budgets, Go-2-market strategy, VAS, CDMA & PON/GPON network, and B/OSS. Deals with Huawei, NEC and Cisco.
* RoamAbout Mobile: President; $0 to $5.4m annual rev. Global SIP-based VoIP MVNO network (distribution in 39-countries), custom Linux-soft switch, B/OSS (w/CRM), integrated web portal, UC, messaging, WiFi, m-Commerce, various PPU VAS community content with ad-wrappers and games.

* IBM: Contracted leader of $500m tier-one carrier OSS/BSS redesign project in Australia; extensive CRM & Knowledge Management integrations (ITIL, ISO, eTOM, NGOSS compliant with convergeced network solutions).

1999 - 2002Defined global wireless strategies developing new repeatable revenue streams. Responsible for the global messaging business, legacy mobile VAS software projects, outsourcing and infrastructure projects. Launched mobile applications as turn-key solutions and in hosted ASP model. Key closing negotiator for JV, M&A activity and major sales opportunities with operators (BT, FT, Vodafone, Cingular), banks, governments and airline clients (UA, BA).
Achievement: $161m to $389m (w/P&L); grew team of 3 to 356, added global market overlay of 240 and outsourced project resources of 1,200 in NZ, India and Sweden.
Tenure Overview:
* Built & launched 73 new wireless VAS software applications and infrastructure generating $106.7m new revenue. Segments: Enterprise (SFA, ERP, SCM, legacy Apps mobilization), Mobile-Commerce (banking, payments), Lifestyle (games, etc.) and Infrastructure (security, WiFi, NFC, FMC, RDID & portals) – ISO-9001 quality policies & procedures. Solutions sold to global operators and VMNO’s (Virgin Mobile).
* Established/Operations global wireless ASP (6-million users) as part of JV with Microsoft and Ericsson (MOSO). Developed integrated OSS/BSS system with transaction processing engine handling over 10 million micro-payment transactions/day including content delivery. $27.1m in new revenue.
* Managed custom software projects; speech recognition systems (OEM for Microsoft); video mail (3GPP), 3G system testing and Multimedia Message Service (MMS) for PTT clients. Infrastructure included development of portals (including launch/support of Microsoft ICSA and MIS) and RFID tagging of baggage for airlines.
1995 - 1999Turnaround and re-launch converged voice/data services. Global responsibility for Next-Gen integrated packet telephony (VoIP) providing global reach for most PTT’s in the world; includes: IXC voice, International bandwidth arbitrage (London Carrier Ring), pan-European Call Center business (2,500 seats), audio/media/video conferencing and wireless backhaul services. Additionally, managed global network operations and services development including SLA’s and application monitoring.
Achievement: $12m to $368m (w/P&L); grew team of 23 to 269 plus sales overlay of 1,300 in global teams serving 120,000+ reps of tier-one carrier partners & alternative distribution channels.
Tenure Overview:
* Conceived, developed and introduced “Inter@Xion” a Next-Gen CO VoIP solution; $12m to $163m business with unique global fixed pricing scheme based on country of origination.
* Led Due Diligence in $780m acquisition of AT&T Unisource Comm. Services (AUCS); large network rationalization and post-acquistion full P&L for pan-European managed network services (55% of pan-European data) and IXC voice business.
* Developed & launched 8 new global services along with a large (19-million user) custom OSS/BSS; ran 73-node global network, operations and 40 data centers. ATM, FR, xDSL and FDDI access technology.
