    Currently studying in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program at the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, Basil Maduka possesses a successful academic and professional history. Mr. Maduka’s participation in the DNP Program indicates his commitment to entering into a leadership role in his nursing practice. He prepares for a nursing career as an advanced practice nurse and as an educator in nursing. Basil Maduka was a recipient of the 2007 award for Extraordinary Contributor for his contributions to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Mendota Mental Health Institute. Basil Maduka continued his studies for a Master of Science in Nursing, concentrating in psychiatry and mental health at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, which he earned in 2012. In 2006, Mr. Maduka earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, where he ranked on the dean’s list in fall 2005, fall, and spring 2006, and graduated cum laude in 2006. He holds nursing certification and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, where Basil Maduka garnered the law department’s best student award. In his professional life from 2009 until 2011, Basil Maduka served as Director of a four-bed adult home with Rehoboth, Inc. in Windsor, Wisconsin. As a Registered Nurse, he worked for the State of Wisconsin in a Nurse Clinician capacity from 2006 to 2009. Before Mr. Maduka came to the United States, he utilized his law degree at F. Mehmet & Co. Solicitors in London as an assistant solicitor. As an active member of the community, Mr. Maduka attends Milwaukee’s All Saints Anglican Church. He is a Knight of Saint Paul.
