ADI Financial Consolidation and Reporting Practice is dedicated to help clients deliver strategic insights to the enterprise through the design and implementation of leading-edge consolidation and reporting practices, development and alignment of key metrics and processes with corporate strategies, implementation of cutting-edge technology for continuously monitoring business performance, and the effectiveness of governance and controls.
My expertise cover the entire range of the applications From SAP-BOFC, SAP-BPC to HFM, HSF, Essbase/Plannning, and all associated reporting tools. I have worked in several industries (Manufacturing, CPG, Aerospace, Bio-systems, Pharmaceuticals and Financial Services) around the world assisting clients with implementing and optimizing performance management and financial reporting solutions. Specializing in the provision of Oracle Hyperion solutions, we employ a proprietary implementation methodology to help ensure that our project achieves its objectives in a timely and predictable manner. Having been previously in the seat of my clients, I understand their needs and I've experienced the solutions I am proposing
2009 - 2010Position reporting to the Group Director of Global IT Operations and Infrastructure.
Managing a team of 40 engineers across the globe and an operational budget of 10M Euros
In charge of the transversal IT operations supporting the regional IT shared services, my main responsibilities covered the implementation, deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure (Networking, Monitoring, Messaging systems and Directory Services).
Main accomplishments :
• IT Processes, Change and Incident Management implementation
Extension of the North America change management methodologies to the IT operation team in EMEA.
In close coordination with the North America Service Management Director, I worked with the different regional IT to implement a common monitoring/incident management procedure and to leverage “follow the sun” support model for the key applications/operations hosted in the enterprise datacenter in Paris.
Close cooperation with IT sourcing director to explore the potential outsourcing options for the IT infrastructure teams.
• Global Network and MPLS deployment
Within an aggressive timeline, successfully managed the deployment of a new MPLS network across NA (72 sites, 3 major Datacenters, VOIP…).
My team extended the scope of the OBS MPLS cloud to cover Eastern Europe and APAC.
Currently implementing a global open network connectivity between the EMEA / NA and APAC regions in order to prepare the implementation of a Global Network.
• Global Messaging upgrade and deployment
Managed to completion the version upgrade of Lotus Notes email system (8.5)
Started building a new email infrastructure in the Enterprise Datacenter in Paris.
Migrated several branches and acquisitions into the corporate email system in NA, EMEA and APAC.
2006 - 2009Position reporting to the Group CFO
Administration and maintenance of the Oracle Hyperion BPM platform (HFM, Planning, Essbase) for Publicis worldwide (1800 users – 900 legal entities)
Responsible for the relationship management with vendors and corporate IT shared services
Managing a group of 2 functional administrators and 4 IT application support engineers
Main accomplishments :
• Hyperion S9 Upgrade
Within an aggressive timeline, successful management of the migration of the Hyperion environment from a 4X version hosted in the company’s datacenter in Chicago to a 9.3.0 version hosted in an external hosting facility in Paris France:
• Design and validation for the migration plan, change management plan with the users worldwide, including a new support process and the training material
• Coordination of the relationship with the different parties involved in the project (Vendors, Application Support, Infrastructure, Network, IT Support, Finance Managers, Corporate)
• Client Profitability
Development and deployment of a Client Profitability Application for the corporate in order to provide information on consolidated performance by client:
• Group EPM platform deployment project
Following the deployment of HFM, technical and functional review and optimization of the reporting tools: Redesign of the technical platform and reinstallation of servers; Review and optimization of the consolidation rules in HFM; Implementation of a worldwide training program on Hyperion Software skills.
2004 - 2006Position reporting to the Group CFO
Responsible of the restructuring of the various IT systems in order to improve productivity
Successfully updated the Financial information systems for the IFRS transition: design, development,
deployment of the new set of applications, historical data conversion and training of users.
Restructured and outsourced the client accounting and the cash collecting procedure.
2001 - 2004Consultant with Altran-SI
Within the corporate FP&A team, management of a team of 5 consultants on the administration and the support of Reporting systems (BO Finance (Formerly Cartesis Carat)) and later on the migration and implementation of the Hyperion Financial Management system.
