Based in Texas, financial services executive Alan Naul presently functions as president of The Javelin Group, which he founded in 2003. Prior to establishing his own company, the executive spent more than a decade as a managing director with The Hampstead Group in Dallas. In this role, he worked with the company’s real estate and corporate investments, especially those within the healthcare and hospitality industries. Alan Naul managed the acquisition, renovation, and disposition of the firm’s two largest lodging initiatives. He also implemented the workout strategy for a $130 million investment in Omega Healthcare Investors, a REIT with the majority of its assets in bankruptcy.
Now with The Javelin Group, Mr. Naul invests strategically in properties and companies that provide housing and healthcare to the senior population with an interest in assisted living facilities and nursing care. Since 2004, the firm has managed more than $100 million in investments.
Naul attended the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University where he earned a BBA. When he’s not working, he enjoys snow skiing, hiking, and traveling.
