With extensive experience in the business and strategic development spheres, Ajit Sivadasan holds responsibilities as Vice President and General Manager with the- Lenovo Corporation. Working from the Global firm’s U.S. headquarters in Morrisville, North Carolina, Ajit Sivadasan manages Lenovo.com Sales and Marketing initiatives focused on end to end customer experience. Mr. Sivadasan’s endeavors include continuous improvement of website usability, visual appeal, and content relevance. His team based in over 10 countries engages with key stakeholders in integrating major marketing campaigns and site-branding approaches. His accomplishments include building a world class web presence for Lenovo and in his previous stint, for Gateway. Driving cost savings realized by winding down previous contract commitments and legacy applications in some cases and rebuilding ground up in some others. In the past two years, he has also established new direct markets in EMEA countries such as Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Latin American countries of Mexico, and Brazil. Prior to accepting his current role, Ajit Sivadasan served for six years as Executive Producer with Gateway, Inc. Based in Irvine, California, where he managed a team of 45 product managers, developers, designers, producers, and data analysts in the development and execution of a long-term e-commerce strategy. By introducing a Linux platform, Mr. Sivadasan reduced the total number of Gateway website pages by more than one-third and significantly improved the customer experience. As a result, site dwell times rose by more than 200 percent over a one-year period. Mr. Sivadasan earned his Master of Science in Industrial Management at Northern Illinois University and completed his Master of Business Administration at Claremont Graduate University. Ajit Sivadasan regularly participates in international conferences. He recently presented on “Managing Complexity in the Digital Economy” at 2011’s ADTECH Singapore event.
