    Building the foundation for his successful career as an administrator, Adam Holden earned a Doctor of Education from California Coast University. His dissertation was a study of civil and criminal justice courses presented in a private parochial high school which brought in field professionals as teachers. Before pursuing doctoral research, Adam Holden earned a Master of Education from Washburn University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Southampton in England. His education gives him a unique perspective on public, private, and parochial schooling. Holden has further developed this perspective through more than 15 years of professional experience as an administrator at all levels of education, from elementary to graduate schools. At present, Adam Holden serves as an Assistant Professor in the Advanced Education Program at Fort Hays State University. He has previously taught as an Adjunct Professor at several different institutions, served as a Head of School (superintendent) of two private schools, functioned as a high school principal, and instructed students in various grade levels. Adam Holden also functions as an independent education consultant and has worked with school districts and councils around the nation and internationally. Dedicated to offering the best advice possible, he frequently participates in continuing education opportunities. At Harvard University, Adam Holden completed courses in leadership and negotiation. He also attended the Oxbridge International Teacher Institute at Oxford University and the Educational Leadership Institute at the Stanford University School of Education. Actively involved with his professional community, Adam Holden belongs to the National Association for Secondary School Principals, the Jewish Community Day School Network, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education. In his free time, he supports the Americas Project and enjoys sports and musical theater.
